 倪磊教授是加州大学圣地亚哥分校终身教授，美国数学会会士。1998获得美国加州大学尔湾分校博士学位，先后在美国普渡大学，斯坦福大学任助理教授，2002年开始在加州大学圣地亚哥分校任教，2009年被评为教授,于2016年-2020年任该校数学系主任。倪磊教授为微分几何和几何分析国际前沿专家，在几何分析，非线性偏微分方程，复几何及相关领域均有杰出的原创性工作。在Journal of AMS, Invent.Math., Comm.PureAppl.Math., Journal of European Math Soc., Jour. Math. Pures Appl., American Jour. Math., J.Diff.Geom., Geom.Topol., GAFA等From Triangles to Robotic Arms, and from Google Search to the Music国际顶尖杂志发表了67篇SCI论文，出版著作5部,Mathscinet citation 1935.自1998年开始长期获得美国国家自然科学基金的支持,包括一项重点项目.倪磊教授2004-2006年度获得美国斯隆奖，被美国数学学会邀请作主要大会报告，是Proceedings of AMS, Int.Jour.Math.以及Geometric flows等国际期刊的编委。
